GET TO KNOW ABOUT EXOTIC ASIA THINGS

tales of exotic foods in Asia are greatly exaggerated legends. With an open mind and the right knowledge, we can see that it is so disgusting it may seem.
Delights of Asian cultures may include things such as jellyfish, beef tendon, shark fin soup and. Although these dishes may make any sensitive American, in retrospect, we delight in the Western world will put someone from a different culture and disgusted by our practices. Eastern not many would like to eat things like caviar, frog legs, or pies. Stories of cat and dog meat consumed in China has some truth, but not to the same extent that the story may seem. Cat and dog dishes are served is rarely certain areas, but in the newer parts of the East is increasingly illegal to kill cats and dogs for food. And again, our culture serves food that is equally repulsive as Haggis and head cheese.
There are several legends that should be laid to rest, as they are aimed at eastern cultures seem barbaric. Live animals are not slaughtered in celebration of History offers. Some of its uses some elements from any reasonable point when he realized that these elements are not taken or used inhumanely. Bear paw, the animal's penis, and the horns are examples of exotic foods from Asia, which are for medical purposes.
Economic difficulties were the main reason some of the less savory dishes that are served in China. Dishes such as chicken hearts and pork intestines are very unattractive for anyone, but they are a cheap source of protein and adequate when circumstances prevent the supply of higher quality and better tasting food. Once again, cultural differences put things in perspective. East are appalled by the idea of eating salty foods such as beans or sausages.
In fact, it is not difficult to understand the culture and reason for such exotic foods in Asia. As with all flavors are used for the person of culture, so what some feel terrible for others it can be delicious. It is important to note that people tend to exaggerate stories in the inhumane practices of East and disgusting because they do not understand the lifestyle. Maybe this can help shed some light on a very misunderstood culture and at the end of horror stories, widespread.

Asia, especially Southeast Asia, is becoming a popular tourist destination. Because in some countries you can have it all: a tropical climate all year round, beautiful beaches, exotic and exciting food, rich culture and best of all, low prices.
Reason 1: tropical
Throughout the year the temperature in Southeast Asia is around 30 degrees Celsius. Countries in Ecuador, usually have two seasons - wet and dry one. And even in "wet", you get a lot of sun in the morning with heavy rain in the afternoon. This is a great stand in the rain and get absolutely soaked. You'll laugh ...?
Reason 2: white sand beaches
Many people when thinking about holidays in Asia, consider enjoying the beaches, sunshine, blue skies, and relax with a cold drink somewhere. Try the fabulous beaches of Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia, especially Bali. Or a submarine adventure and diving sites, world class diving in Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. If diving is not quite your thing, why not try scuba diving and enjoy the fish and coral in this way? This is fun, keeps you cool and stay in shape.
Reason 3: The rich heritage
When you tire of lying on the beach, sunbathe, fish or greetings, you can go and discover the rich cultural heritage and history of the region. Be awed and overwhelmed by the Angkor temple complex in Siem Reap incredible Cambodia. Monuments of ancient Khmer culture and religion of every 10 to 15 century AD were recovered slowly through the jungle, were rediscovered in 1860 and became one of the greatest wonders of the world.Other wonders are the Great Wall and the Taj Mahal in India.
Reason 4: beautiful exotic foods
One of the biggest things for me is the food like in the rest of Asia. Of course, you can try food at home too, but not quite true.Plants wonderful seafood and meats are cooked with Asian spices and herbs moods. What would curry without some of Chile, lemon grass, ginger, cardamom and coriander? And take it from the heat a little, there a good amount of coconut milk or cream. Your food is filled with some delicious tropical fruits like mango, papaya, pineapple, different sizes and types of bananas, watermelon and grapefruit, to mention only the most popular fruits. Or you can enjoy them for breakfast or anytime of the day.
Reason 5: lower prices
This course is one of the best reasons to holiday in Asia is so popular now. Your budget goes further. Your accommodation, travel expeditions, their culinary adventures, and of course souvenir shopping goes further. You pay part of what you would pay close to home. Depending on your destination, you can have 5-star luxury holiday in Asia about 100 USD per day. And you probably have money left over to be pampered with a massage, facial or manicure. There is nothing better than this ...!
So next time you wonder where to spend your vacation, consider a tropical vacation, Asia, exotic and accessible.

Tha Batak Chair at Ambarita

Lake Toba is situated about 4 our drive from Medan, the gateway to north sumatra.

In the days when the transportation was limited, the interaction between the tribes were limited. Thus the Batak people from the surrounding Lake Toba had developed their own way of like.

One of the Batak group is the Ambarita tribe, living in the Samosir Island in the middle of the lake.  The stones chairs of Ambarita where tribal elders Council place.

Ambarita is an old Batak tribal village on Samosir island in Lake Toba. It is located an hour’s walk Northwest of tuk tuk or 20 minutes by boat. What makes Ambarita interesting, from an anthropological point of view is that in ancient times the Toba Batak people in Ambarita practiced a form of Carnibalism. What is still the stones chairs, where the village elders Council place. Whenever an enemy was captured, the fate of the victim would rest on the decision of the conference of the rulers.

The victim were kept behind bars in one of the houses near the councils meeting place. If it is established that the victim deserves death, he is brought to a dining table, where he is beaten to death. The stone chair was used to behead the victims. Then he is hacked, its meat is cooked with Buffalo meat and Council, served the tribal with the food and complete the menu with the drink of victim’s blood!

You will reach Ambarita by boat. As walk away from the jetty, you will come across the graveyard of Laga Siallagan, first Raja of Ambarita. The road will take you to the compound of the old Batak village where rows of traditional Toba Batak architecture were built. However the sign of modern of interference has shown. Many of the houses are using the zinc roof, when the tradition houses are still using the thached. Many visitors are hoping that the villagers retain the traditional roofs rather than the modern metal roofs.

The visit include the house where the victims are kept. We hope the old custom has ended. Nobody want to end up in the bowl of soup.

Brunei attraction

Brunei never stop to be the attraction to visitors.
A land rich in history, for it use to be a grand empire covering the whole of Borneo and the Southern part of Philippine. It is left the land among the smallest country in the world with about 400,000 population.
The heart of the country is the capital city, used to known as Brunei, like the country itself. Upon independent, the town was changed to Bansar Seri Benggawan, as rather long name and difficult to remember except for the local or a Malay.
The Sultan is among the richest in the world. With about US20bil , the interest received from the investment is enough to run the country. It rather unfortunate that the wealth is not being used to develop and strengthen the small state and the people.
What exactly is the attraction of Brunei. It is probably the only surviving sultanate, where the king has the power to rule the state. The traditional Malay culture was reflected in the saying that… a state can only exist if there is a king. There was no separation between state and king,
One of the most visited building is the Omar Ali Mosque, built upon an artificial lagoon to give the impression of a mosque floating on water. The building was completed in 1958, during the rule of the British. It pride itself with 52m minarets visible throughout the city. The expensive marbles were imported from Italy and the domes were crafted from pure gold.
A museum was build to display the Brunei Malay tradition dated back to the years before the colonial British set his foot.
